After applying for OTR truck driver job opportunities at Covenant, you’ll be ready to get on the road and start earning! Our seamless orientation process is the ideal time to connect with other CDL-A truck drivers who would make a great partner.
We pay for your transportation, lodging and meals while you receive the essential training you need for an exciting career at Covenant!
Orientations begin on Monday and Wednesday every week.
From the moment you arrive at Orientation on our Chattanooga, Tennessee campus, you’ll know that Covenant makes drivers a priority by the investment in our facilities and comprehensive training.
Covenant’s new state-of-the-art facilities provide a clean, comfortable, and efficient training environment with six classrooms, a pre-trip inspection station, and backing and tight space courses. Our approach combines computer-based training, instructor-led facilitation, and practical teaching exercises to ensure we connect with every type of learner.
As a part of your on-boarding, you will be introduced to the Covenant SAFE driving system designed to make you a safer, more attentive, and next-level professional driver.
As with any training, an effective program will require you to get a good night’s rest. Hogan Hall has been designed to ensure you get just that. With 100 double occupancy rooms with in-room entertainment, you can stream your favorite service to the wall-mounted screen. A dining hall, indoor/outdoor driver lounge area, vending area and resource room also all await you at Hogan Hall. Our future professional drivers will have all they need during their brief orientation stay.
Additionally, our full-time dorm staff and on-site security are there to ensure a safe stay and answer any driver questions 24/7.
